This year’s workshop is particularly exciting for
attendees since it will be held at the MIT Sloan School in Cambridge, MA in late June. Professors Edward Roberts and
James Utterback of MIT are credited with much of the seminal work in the field. It is fitting that are we holding this year’s
National workshop at MIT in recognition of their great contribution and that of the MIT Management of Technology / Sloan Fellow
program. We are currently hard at work preparing the detailed agenda for the workshop but suffice it to say that
we will be bringing together top leaders from the field of Technology Management to discuss the most prescient
issues dealing with Technology Management higher education. We expect that the academic and corporate leaders who do
attend will benefit greatly from the lively exchange of information that has characterized TMEDA Workshops since inception.
You need to attend this workshop if you are an academic program director, Dean or professor in the field of Technology Management. By the same
token, if you are a corporate leader looking to achieve a competitive advantage for your organization by sending employees to advanced education
programs in Technology Management you could not come to a better workshop. You will be able to interact closely with educational thought leaders,
content designers and providers as well as with peer decision makers at other organizations.
